David Allan Coe, lyricist of famous “Take This Job and Shove It”, has pleaded guilty to the feds for tax evasion to the tune of more than $466,000. According to reports, Coe owes the IRS outstanding taxes dating all the way back to at least 1993. Coe has been attempting to fly under the federal radar by only accepting cash for paid gigs, and closed all personal bank accounts in 2009. We can’t imagine what his mattress looks like!
