Marketing & Communications Intern

Work responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

-Events & Promotions: assisting on-air talent with community events and socializing with listeners at these events; Events include the State Fair, live broadcasts, station promotions, several parades, and several city festivals.

-Programming: writing, voicing, and producing radio ads, writing, voicing and producing the community calendar and PSAs, operating sound board during live broadcasted sports games and remote broadcasts, shadowing live broadcasts in studio, etc.

-Marketing, Social Media, Digital Content: finding relevant content that interests our target market and writing posts on social media/the website that generate interactions with listeners with the ultimate goal of increasing the follower base.

-General Office Assistance (as needed): may include filing, doing mail, merchandise inventory, etc.
