Jim Erickson has been in broadcasting for 28 years. For his first job, he spent 9 years at WCMP in Pine City, MN where he was a morning show announcer, sports director, and play-by-play announcer of high school sports. Jim then moved on to BOB FM/WQPM AM where he held various positions including Sports Director, play-by-play announcer, morning show announcer, Production Director, and mid-day announcer. He left BOB for a period of time to broadcast all things hockey related, before he returned in 2009. Now, Jim is a co-host of the BOB Morning Show, is the host of the All Request Lunch Hour, and is a play-by-play announcer.

Jim is also the Radio Play-by-Play voice of the St. Cloud State Men’s Hockey team, and he does play- by-play for the MN State High School Hockey Tournament and MN State High School Football Prep Bowl Championships. In his spare time, Jim spends time with his wife, Chrissy, golfs, follows Minnesota sports, and enjoys going to the movies.

    My brother Johnnie passed away 13 years ago and hes been on my mind alot lately. Two of his favorite songs which became 2 of mine were Me and You and a dog named Boo, and Run for the Roses… PLEASE? Am I too late for today?
