The Nowthen Threshing Show is a three day event that takes place annually on the third full weekend (Friday through Sunday) in August.
Guests can watch history happen by watching corn chopping, blacksmithing, grain threshing, and sawmill demonstrations, or experience historic culture by wandering through the old restored school, church, log buildings, and train depot on the grounds.
Every year the Nowthen Threshing Show selects a brand of tractor and engine as the feature at the show. These items are the spotlight during the Parade of Power and often draw a larger number and greater variety of these tractors and engines. All types of tractors, engines, and implements are welcome at the grounds, but the feature gives a particular type of tractor or engine the opportunity to shine.
