The American Cancer Society Bark For LifeTM is a fundraising, noncompetitive walking event for dogs and their owners to raise funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society’s fight against cancer.
The Bark For Life presents an opportunity for people to be empowered through their canine companion partnerships and to contribute to the fight against cancer as highlighted in the American Cancer Society mission statement:
“The American Cancer Society is the nationwide, community-based, voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service.”
