WHAT: The Emerging Trends Conference is a day-long educational experience open to the public that offers lupus and autoimmune disease insight from national and local experts on cutting-edge research, treatment, and integrative health care. Keynote speakers are Dr. Noel Rose, the “father of autoimmunology,” (Emeritus at Johns Hopkins University, Professor of the Department of Pathology, Brigham and Women’s Hospital at Harvard Medical School) and Dr. Mari Ann Graham (Associate Professor at St. Catherine University/ University of St. Thomas School of Social Work). A certificate of attendance (six hours) will be available for continuing education credit.

WHY: The Lupus Foundation of Minnesota (LFM) is an independent, nonprofit, charitable organization and is the only organization in Minnesota dedicated to providing services to those whose lives are impacted by lupus, a chronic, autoimmune disease. In 2016, LFM celebrates its 40th anniversary of funding lupus research, providing education, support and referrals for people living with lupus, and bringing greater public awareness of the disease.
